Below is a list of times for families to attend the self-guided tour. Please only attend your time slot. We have a plan that meets the county health guidelines, and we appreciate families following the guidelines to keep us safe and healthy.

Monday, March 22nd

12:00pm-1:00pm- Last name A-D

1:00pm-2:00pm- Last name E-H

2:00pm-3:00pm- Last name I-N

3:00pm-4:00pm- Last name O-R

4:00pm-5:00pm- Last name S-Z

5:00pm-6:00pm- New students grades 10-12 and all 9th grade students who could not make their time slot.

Your self-guided tour of the campus starts at the student lot. You and your family will visit stations around the campus in addition to locating your own classrooms.   The student lot is located off of Mission Road next to the football field. When we return in person/hybrid model there will be 3 gates open for students to enter campus, but we will only be using the student lot for this visit

Only immediate family members will be allowed onto campus.   All students will need to show their LumiSight clearance to enter.  Students do not need to own a cell phone to complete the LumiSight screening.  A parent can clear them on their phone.  Students can also bring a printout of their badge to show.  After being cleared, they will receive a school map that includes the directional arrows for the one-way hallways.  Families will be able to spend up to 30 minutes walking your student’s schedule.

We will not have your student schedules, so please come prepared with your student’s Term 2 schedule (print or accessed by a phone through StudentVUE or ParentVUE).

Requirements to enter campus:
All safety protocols and guidelines must be followed. All people entering campus will wear a mask over their mouth and nose for the entire visit.
Families will maintain social distancing of 6 ft. from other families.
Families will keep moving.  There is no stopping and gathering with other families.

Other logistics:

1. MHHS administration, campus supervisors, Link Crew Leaders and ASB students will be available to help answer questions.
2. All inside areas of campus will be locked and unavailable.  The visit is an opportunity to ‘walk’ the schedule, note the one-way hallways, and look inside certain classrooms to gain a better perspective of what the inside of classrooms will look like when we return.
There will be no bathroom access.  With the visit being approximately 20-30 minutes, please plan accordingly, as we need to keep all inside areas sanitized and unoccupied to remain within the guidelines.
4.
Link Crew leaders and ASB students (wearing MHHS Shirts) will have maps available to families.
5.
Students are able to visit campus without a parent, and will need to show their LumiSight app and abide by all safety protocols.
If you have any questions, please email Shez Sirimanne: [email protected]

We look forward to meeting our new Grizzlies!

SILVERTIP // MHHS News

The Silvertip has produced a few resources as we return to campus, keeping our new students and our freshmen in mind, especially. The first link is to a campus map (drawn by the incredibly talented Sophia Novelo), and the second link is to a campus tour video, shot by a collection of students and edited by ASB President Austin Schultz.
