Those beginning a quarantine adhere to the following:
-
Stay at home for 14 days after your last contact with the person who has COVID-19. (Unless you hear differently from the public health department, our records indicate the last day of quarantine should be 4/23/2021). Your child may return to campus on 4/26/2021 provided he/she is not exhibiting any symptoms. We encourage families to consider COVID-19 testing for their family.
-
Watch for fever (> 100.0 F), cough, shortness of breath and other symptoms of COVID-19 (chills, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea).
-
As much as possible, stay away from others, especially people who are at high risk for getting very sick from COVID-19 (older adults, and people with underlying health conditions such as cancer, chronic kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, obesity, serious heart conditions, sickle cell disease, diabetes, and others).
-
In order to maintain continuity of instruction with the teacher, your child will access learning remotely by emailing their teacher directly.
