Project Next helps high school students plan and prepare for their future - the future that’s
best for them.
Project Next Future Centers are staffed by Career Coaches who work with all high school students, adding value to the work of our amazing school counseling teams.
Project Next’s Career Coaches provide programs and resources that help students discover and cultivate their interests and strengths, connect to compatible career paths, develop financial literacy skills, prepare for college and career, and build life skills. All students can access 1:1 support, ensuring no student is excluded from this critical training due to access barriers. Students graduate career-ready with resumes in hand, mock interview experience, money management skills, and an understanding of their interests and strengths.
Identifying their strengths and interests
We help students figure out what they’re great at, what excites them, and what they might want to lean into in their future.
Discovering and exploring their options
We introduce students to the diverse opportunities they can pursue in post-secondary education, training, and employment, and help them meet professionals who can advise them along the way.
Getting college or career ready
From identifying their college major to learning how to network and write a resume, we help students gain the skills and knowledge they need to be well prepared for their best next step.
Career Coach
To meet with the MHHS Career Coach, students can email Ms. Mena to schedule an appointment. Students may also drop in anytime throughout the day.
