Mission Hills High School Parking Policy

Parking Permits
To park in the student parking lot, students are required to have a valid parking permit. To obtain a parking permit students must submit all required paperwork, including permit application, proof of driver license, valid car registration and insurance to the Finance window. First time permit applicants are required to complete a Start Smart course with a parent/ guardian in attendance. Permit applications are available at the Finance window.

Parking Policy

  • Students can park in the student lot without a permit until September 3, 2024. From this date students will be cited if parked without a parking permit sticker.
  • Illegally parked vehicles will be cited and may be towed at the owner's expense. This includes students parking without a valid parking permit. Please read the consequences below for parking violations.
  • Lost, damaged or stolen permits will result in a mandatory 30-day waiting period before a new permit will be issued along with a fee of $15.00
  • Vehicles are subject to search at any time. All contents in the vehicle are the responsibility of the driver. The vehicle cannot contain any illegal substance (drugs, alcohol, tobacco), dangerous objects or any other objects deemed inappropriate for school.
  • MHHS assumes no responsibility for any damages that may occur while student vehicles are parked on campus.

Parking Permit Policy

  • Valid parking permit (sticker) must be affixed to the inside lower left hand corner of the front windshield and be visible at all times.
  • Only one parking permit will be issued per student. An issued parking sticker belongs to the car that has been approved and cannot be transferred.
  • Falsified parking permits will result in disciplinary action ranging from Saturday School to a suspension.
  • Parking is limited to the designated student parking area. A parking permit does not guarantee a space.
  • Unless otherwise posted, the speed limit is 25 MPH and is strictly enforced. Any form of speeding or reckless driving will result in a parking permit being revoked.
