Mission Hills High School will be offering the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, commonly known as the ASVAB on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 8:30 am to 12:20 pm. The ASVAB is open to all 10th – 12 graders.

The ASVAB is a timed multi-aptitude test (Verbal, Math, Science and Technical, and Spatial), which is given at over 14,000 schools and developed and maintained by the Department of Defense. We provide this opportunity for our students to be able to identify their strengths and possible career interests. By taking the ASVAB your student is NOT enlisting in the military, however, they may be contacted by a recruiter if your student indicates on their ASVAB intake sheet that they are interested in the military as a possible career choice.

If your student is interested in taking the ASVAB, please click on the link below. In addition to registering for the ASVAB online, your student will also be required to turn in a permission slip. Permission slips are available in the College & Career Center. The deadline to register for the ASVAB is Friday, November 29, 2018.

Should you have any questions please contact Angela Segal (school counselor) at angela.segal@smusd.org
