English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)

English Learner Advisory Committee is formed by Grizzly parents, guardians, and community members. ELAC meets six times during the school year. ELAC is a great forum for parent/guardians of second language learners and reclassified students to meet and learn about their students' high school education. ELAC advises the principal on the Single Plan for Student Achievement in areas pertaining to English Learners. Our meetings also offer workshops, guest speakers, and presentations to inform parents of topics they find of interest. Examples of workshops in the past have been, how to read a transcript, graduation requirements and A-G eligibility and financial aide among others.
Please join us and participate in our monthly meetings, translation and child care are available. Visit our page for updates about our meetings.

First ELAC Meeting of the 18/29 school year is September 19 at 6:00 p.m.
