Library Policies and Procedures

Checking Out Physical Library Books During Hybrid Learning

  • Students will need their MHHS ID card or know their ID number to place holds or check out books.
  • Students may put a book on hold using by logging into Destiny Discover.
  • Library staff will email students when their holds are available for pick up in the library. This process may take 1-2 days.
  • All library books checked out during Spring 2021 semester will be due on 6/9/2021 (last day of school)
  • Students may check out 5 library books at a time.
  • NO LATE FINES! Please return your books!
  • Fines are assessed for damaged books. Fines are assessed according to severity of damage. Student may be charged the replacement cost of the damaged book.
  • Please notify library staff of damage found immediately to avoid responsibility for damages. 

Textbooks & Chromebooks During Hybrid Learning

  • For Spring 2021, the textbook office hours are M-F 9:15-1:00. If the textbook office is closed, please come upstairs to the library for assistance.
  • Please bring your student ID with you or know your number.
  • All textbooks are due on the last day of school 6/9/2021 - stay tuned for information about the June 2021 textbook drop-off. 
  • Dropped a class? Please bring your textbook back to us ASAP!
  • NO LATE FINES! 
  • Fines are assessed for DAMAGED BOOKS. Please notify library staff of damage found immediately to avoid responsibility for damages.
